The ?circle of softball? is represented at the 17th annual Lady Buccaneer Softball Mini-Camp, which continues through Wednesday at the Oswego High School fields. 5) Coach Derbidge leads softball honors (Santa Maria Times)In her first year as a softball coach, Amber Derbidge said she wanted to use the motivational techniques she learned as an English teacher at Arroyo Grande High School to motivate her players on the field. 6) Softball Player of the Year: Val Arioto (Contra Costa Times)Her first varsity start in the circle for the Foothill High School softball team was a one-hit, 13-strikeout performance in a 2-1 win over Antioch in the first round of the Queen of the Mountain tournament. 7) Bean steps down from LC-M softball post (Orange Leader)LITTLE CYPRESS ?
